Sports Development
The focus of the sports programmes delivered by the Foundation of Goodness concentrates on the mental, physical and social health of sports participants and the development of life skills. The programmes are delivered via the Sports Academy in Seenigama as well as coaching camps, clinics and other forms of support such as the donation of equipment and development of sports facilities island-wide.
There is huge sporting potential lying dormant in rural Sri Lanka, without the right facilities and opportunities to be unleashed. This is where the Foundation of Goodness hopes to step in, and bridge the gap the urban-rural divide by providing high quality training, mentoring and facilities to aspiring sports men and women across Sri Lanka.
Sports Academy
The Sports Academy is made up of the Wimalabuddhi Surrey Oval cricket grounds, the Bryan Adams Foundation Swimming Pool Complex, Netball and Volleyball Courts, Gym and Club House as well as the Sri Sumangala MCC Lords Cricket Grounds located nearby in Hikkaduwa.

Rural Sports Development Activities
The Foundation of Goodness also conducts a variety of rural sports development activities including scholarships, sponsorship of athletes to represent the country overseas, coaching camps and clinics with professional sportsmen and coaches, the donation of sports equipment and venue development island-wide.

Rural Sri Lanka is brimming with sporting potential and simply lacks the right opportunities and infrastructure to be phenomenal.
