Komathy is a widow with four children, from Komapakkarachchi, Vilkakamam is located in the Thirukkovil area of the Ampara District. Her husband passed away 15 years ago. She expresses her heartfelt thanks for being given the opportunity to stand on her own two feet. For 15 years, she earned an income as a day labourer on other people’s farms, never having her own enterprise. Thanks to the ‘All You Need Is Love’ project, she became the co-owner of a communal farm. With the support of this project, she has earned money for her children’s education and has even been able to save some for emergencies. She describes it as a fantastic programme.
